Winners of the 2007 Big O Birding Festival Coloring Contest, sponsored by Riverwatch, (Caloosahatchee River Citizens Association), were recognized during the "Kids Are For The Birds" activity day held Friday March 30, 2007 in Moore Haven's Tom Perry Memorial Park.

The 2008 Coloring Contest will be open to K-5 Grade Students in Glades and Hendry County Schools.
The 2008 children’s activity day, sponsored by the City of Moore Haven, and scheduled as a field trip for students in Grade 6 in Glades and Hendry County Schools, will feature, a gardening demonstration project, as well as animal exhibits and educational programs.
